Into your arms

Uluru and the Southern Cross

Flinging myself into the light
And heat of my birth-land,
Born from the red soil,
Of Dreaming and crime.

Ancient forces colluded
And set me Down here
On this island of magic
Of immensity and fear.

Its heat and its deserts,
Its snow and its storms
Its tropical rainforests
Sunsets and dawns.

The sea and colored reefs
Scented eucalyptus trees;

And a sky so wide
You can always feel free.

Like a big blue glass eye,
Looking back into space,

You are found in all dimensions
By the power of this place.
