Poem for the Month of January, 2003

Purr-fect Perfection

by Taebo Kitti

Purr-fect perfection
Observes the household lair
Pushing computer keyboard buttons
Inspecting all in the domain
Something new each day
Never bored, this Persian feline
Pokes jewelry, lounges on pillows
Sniffs all shopping bags
Curiosity that never wanes
Only increases, new items
Must be approved by the
Queen of the lair.
