Brahma Dung Ananda

As the Webmistress of RamaLila, I am pleased to announce a most superb development here at the Lila of Rama Ashram concerning our famous self proclaimed In-House Guru, "His Holiness, Brahma Dung Ananda."

Evidently last week, our self proclaimed Avatar was wandering the sidewalks of Venice Beach when he happened upon a fortune teller sitting on a milk crate behind a worn-out card table giving readings for $2. What drew our esteemed Spiritual Guru to this man was the fine turban that he was wearing. His holiness was really impressed with how this spiffied up the holy attire of the fortune teller.

Using the powerful influence of the Spirit Guide, "Jack Daniel's", he persuaded the street psychic to show him how to wrap his own head in a turban.

Upon returning to the Ashram wearing a turban, he announced to me that he is not only the most Advanced Soul in the Universe, Holiest of Holies and Avatar of Avatars, but he is now a Swami too!

Sporting his new turban fashioned out of a discarded sheet torn into a strip, its frayed strings hanging out on the edges, he stated that the Universe has revealed that he can now make himself available to the common masses of humanity. He instructed me to immediately set up an "Ask The Swami" column from which he can espouse the Dharmic Truths as only he in his infinite wisdom and knowledge can uniquely share in his usual humble way.

With that he staggered off to his room to sleep off the effects of the Spirit Guide.

"Humm," I thought as I leaned back and rested my feet on top of my desk and put my hands behind my head, "Maybe this will keep him in his room and away from the rest of us."
