Hi, The meaning of a dark age is that there are more people who don't care about light and enlightenment and things like that then there are people who do care. Rama's "dark age" commentary was just that . . sort of like there are more conservatives in this country than liberals - just a balance favoring people who don't care about "light". Thats all - it was nothing grandiose when he said age of darkness, although its a dramatic sounding term. Its the same as doppler weather - they say 40 percent chance of rain when the picture of the sky has 40% clouds covering the picture - its no huge complicated formula - just a measure of the percentage. The "dark age" idea is a good one, but I wouldn't make overly too much about it. respectfully, noah (oops, I shouldn't be using that word according to some) |
