journeys to Ixtlans |
I would like to hear more about techniques for pulling lines, and perhaps letting go in general.
For myself, I have found it to be the case that "you can never go home." Perhaps it's the long intervals, but when I've returned to places to visit I've found they don't exist anymore. Be it the relationships, or physically, or energetically, etc. -- in a very real way what I am trying to visit is no longer there. A bit like Brigadoon. (Now *there's* a work with some Buddhist themes!)
In one instance, there's a place I spent many years that I'm not sure I want to ever visit again. I do not want my newer experiences to dilute and taint the memories I have.
