The Bodhisattva Standoff |
So occasionally I get to wonderin' - about how the Vow of the Bodhisattva is to delay Absorbtive Enlightenment until all other sentient beings have become Well-Gone before.
So, okay: now there are Two (Enlightened) Sentient Beings left in all of Creation.
Now what???
Do they do the Chip and Dale Thing:
"Before me!"
"Oh, no - you first!"
"Wouldn't think of it dear chap, please..."
"Nope, nope, you first, please."
"Under no circumstances dear friend, you go first!"
"Impossible! You first, I insist!"
&ct., &tc., ad infinitum.
OR: does this Irresolvable Conundrum finally generate such a resonance, that it engenders the Next Big Bang, the whirling vortex of dual mutual subservience draws Everything into it, compresses it into a Single Point, and then the music goes "Da capo al Coda" once more...
Jesus, I gotta stop thinking!
