It seems I know quite a few people at the moment going through tough times.
Some financial, some health related, some career related, some with
relationships gone bad...
I'm managing to do okay though, life is good!
2004 was a tough year, no doubt, but overall things feel okay.
The thing I hear the most when discussing problems with friends seems to be
'you know, I wouldn't be so ________ (fill in the blank; worried, angry,
depressed...) if only________(enter solution to most pressing issue)'.
But if it weren't one thing, it'd be another. And if there were no big, huge
pressing problem, there would be another. Or perhaps there would be a
smaller issue, which would appear larger due to not having a bigger one to
keep it in perspective. Or maybe everything would be cool, but then would seem
boring and then the pull to change would take over...
Life just keeeps flowing along... may as well smile! |
