Which Would You Choose? |

You know the old adage: "If you could have one of the following: Health, Wealth or Happiness," which would you choose? Well, I have been thinking about that lately and it occurred to me that most people would chose Health. At least when presented to a few friends, that was their choice. But then I delved upon it: and came to the conclusion that it was a rather selfish wish. You want health so YOU could be around to enjoy life. Same with Happiness...a self gratifying choice. So then I thought about WEALTH...which would seem at first to be a selfish wish, but when you think about it, it is just the contrary. If you had wealth, you could share it with your inheritors after your death, right? So, in that sense it is the most selfless wish of the three...do you not agree? |
