What has inspired you lately? |
I thought it would be fun for everyone to throw in their two cents about something that inspired them lately. It doesn't matter what - music, books, movies, lectures, concerts - or how - athletics, career success, travelling - its just fun to share and inspire each other.
For myself, I was quite inspired reading the book "The Passionate Heart". I think the inspiration comes from something as simple as remembering things that I had learned. She does a really nice job of articulating Rama's teachings in a nice, neat package. While it is review for many of us - its always good to re-remember what you learned. How many times did we hear the lecture on "Learning to Meditate" when we studied with Rama? But I think I learned something everytime he taught it.
Secondly, I've been going back and listening to some "older" new age music. I've been especially enjoying Patrick O'Hearn. I haven't listened to his recent stuff, but I may give it a try. The last album of his that I bought a few years back was "Trust". I pulled it out again recently and have been enjoying that very much.
What's been inspiring you?
