Reality Check |
The demonstrations against Dubya and this war have been
getting the point accross that a lot of us don't support
these actions. Will that cause Dubya to change his mind
and bring our guys back right away? Not a chance.
Unfortunately that helps to bolster the morale of Saddam
and his people that if they stick it out long enough they
might prevail. Obviously the longer it goes the more will
be killed on all sides.
The Iraqi tv display yesterday of U.S. soldiers captured
and some, who were dead, appeared they might of been executed
was a reminder of the enemy our guys face. That made we realize
although I didn't support this conflict, our guys are over
there getting killed. I can't wait to get Dubya out of office
but as long as Americans, Brits, Aussies, and innocent Iraqi's
are in harms way I support their efforts to rid the world of
Saddam. It would be so much better to have the U.N. with us but
that is not the reality. The reality is this is the time to get
rid of Saddam because that asshole Dubya gave us no choice. |
