What it is |
... making the sign of the telephone ... (with both hands) ... and both hands pointing (in disparate directions), but creating a striking visual pose (reminiscent of rap[turous] scenes on MTV) ... so seriously (if superficially) cool!
Speaking the truth from the soapbox of eternity with the undeniable enthusiasm of the zealot, revelations pour forth in endless streams of contradiction ... though few will see it for ... "what it is".
The masses laugh, the village idiot smiles ... the wheel of Karma spins around the nonexistant stillpoint at its center, that "is" (and "is NOT") enlightenment.
Life goes on (while it may), heroic deeds save the day.
Battles rage, between good and ill, most often alone on the mental treadmill.
The rhyming stops, the reasoning fails ... barely a fart of wind to fill life's sails.
The kind gesture, a soothing word, moments of brilliance that smack of the absurd ... smiling ... off down the long road to shuffle ... alone, but never alone (and rarely, is there any one at home :-)
