This isn't really a Thanksgiving moment - to be honest I really have no understanding of "Thanksgiving". But ... this was a perfect moment for me.

***

I was driving to work one morning ... the rain was pouring down around me ... the traffic was dreadful ... I was late.

I drove along the road out of my estate and headed over a few hills towards the freeway into the city. More and more traffic.

Finally, the sun broke through the stormclouds, and a magnificent double rainbow appeared in front of me. And a third arch to the side.

As I drove forward, I realised I was drawing closer and closer to this arch of spectacular vibrant colour - bringing thoughts of the chakras, and of hope.

You get the sense you can reach the base - but it is ever elusive ... you pass that last hill expecting to find the pot of gold ... but it jumps beyond the next hill - it can never be reached.

BUT ... on this occasion, midst the chaos, I drove over that last hill, and to my utter amazement the valley was filled with irridescent light. I drove my car straight into the rainbow. The light was pearlescent, vibrant, alive. It pulsated. The power was incredible. It was a burst of radiant, intelligent, oneness.

As I drove through and beyond the valley I looked back, and it all vanished; but I carried that beautiful moment for the rest of the day, and felt so incredibly honoured to have experienced such light.
