Deep in the heart of a thread |
There it is.
In a simple message thread called "Window for Women" -- Amidst fortold disaster, amidst the call for female unity, amidst Denny's and Terminator--- there it is (for me): Our spirit as a group.
We have all travelled oh so far. Each in our own unique way. Somehow, we continue make good in our lives and in the lives of our peers.
I am very inspired by the follow-ups to the post about a particular date in the movie Terminator when the world would "end" as we know it. From that, comes playful stories about Denny's, about Hawaii, about fun.
You just don't get this bouyancy from most families. Usually, everyone has their agenda, their dogma, their fears/doubts/worries, etc.
Somehow, here, in this family, despite our own baggage, we continue to make good.
Thanks, Sisters. Thanks, Brothers.
