It occurs to me that this is a really cool quote with quite a few implications. To me this quote sums up in one short sentence the reasons I was attracted enough to him to become his student. In that era, he stressed that he was *not* special in any way. The study wasn't as much about *his* enlightenment as it was about *ours*. What I get from this quote is that the magic of Rama was not in his specialness but in his ordinariness. If he could do it, so can we.
