Rama and Flower Week |
A long, long, long time ago, Rama did a whole week with us where we focused intensely on flowers. He talked about them outwardly and also said he would teach us inwardly about them.
Outwardly he said flowers carry a lot of purity; they originally come from a causal realm and they come here just to be beautiful...their whole life is a selfless-giving. He encouraged us to learn names of flowers, to get flowers of varieties we had not made friends with before.
He encouraged us to give flowers that week. He encouraged us to learn names of flowers, to get flowers of varieties we had not made friends with before. We sent flowers to him, we gave them to each other, to people outside the group, etc.
He said flowers contain a lot of occult secrets. They do a lot to lift heavy energy.
I know people are leaving flowers at memorials, but I think there is magic in giving flowers to the living, too. Your local Mail Boxes, Etc., dry cleaners or other kinds of places with public traffic might appreciate a few flowers this week to put on the counter. Everyone who sees them will be touched by that "purity" and it can be our little secret of sharing a teaching from Rama...
