Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, Passing Time |
Been reading the last threads under transits, and I laughed a whole lot at your comments. It was a really fun sparring of ideas. I liked the "Dock" song, because it fit so perfectly.
We are all sitting here, passing time. We could do a whole lot of nothing. We do. That's fine. We could focus our attention on anything.
I have found that focusing my awareness on the teachings, and the experiences of meditation is a great way to pass time. Don't really give a rat's what anyone thinks about my choice.
Somehow, that is where I was drawn. To the teacher, to the teachings, to the experiences of light. I have a great time reading books like Peaceful Warrior and Illusions.
New Age? Old Age? Both? Neither. I am happy to spend my time here, sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the light show, inside and outside. It seems pretty simple to me.
