Enlightened Women |
I remember Rama mentioning, at one time, and many years ago, that of the 12 enlightened beings on the planet then, one was a woman. He did not name names. So, can anyone tell me, ARE THERE ENLIGHTENED WOMEN LIVING TODAY???
UT, I read the Why More Women Don't Attain Enlightenment thread. I recently listened to an early tape Rama made on the subject. Seems like we moved into a time and condition on the planet that should allow for women's enlightenment. Trick is that women have to unlearn the talented skills they have developed. Women have to unlearn using their personal power and second attention to wrap men. They can lead powerful lives without men. Until the last few decades women were forced to wrap powerful men with their second attention. That was their only hope of leading a powerful life.
Now, women who have made a choice to focus on their own enlightenment have to unlearn skills that they have used to manipulate men. As you said UT, women cannot attain enlightenment while they are still using their second attention for manipulation.
Any ideas about the unlearning process? |
