Amnesia and Past Lives |
I read the thread about past lives. I remember Rama talking about changing the approach of Laksmi. He said that it might be helpful for us to remember our past lives, and he spent some time and energy that night helping us remember. The point. The human condition of amnesia might be blocking our growth.
As I *remember* -- that night Rama said that if we could remember past lives it would be like visiting a power spot. Our own personal power spot. Sorry, these were not his words, or exact meaning. But he said it was important to remember "who" you are, and what you are doing here. He thought that some past life memories would help us tap into those "higher" incarnations. He explained that many of us had lived in nore enlightened awareness, and the "remembering" of that could be useful.
Perhaps what he was saying was that we had stored energy -- awareness there, and I even think I remember that Rama suggested IF we visited spots on the planet where we had particularly high or enlightened lifetimes, it would be helpful. On the other hand, he also said that the whole reincarnation thing, based on linear time, was not exactly how it was. He said it was more like simultaneous lifetimes.
Excuse me, gotto go catch a camel over to the Nile. ;-) |
