Power lifetimes |
Remember when you were first on the street, kicking down recruiter's doorways, boning up on the latest tech lingo?
Or when you got the job, and could do the job?
What about when you did that really cool thing for your friend even though it was a hassle and took more time than you wanted to give?
Remember sitting with Rama?
Remember really seeing a view of something beautiful and having the maturity to appreciate it?
Remember being terrified about death....and overcoming it?
Power moments. ---------------
Past lives are very cool. When you feel them and really feel them, a lot of fears about death vanish. It's an experiential thing.
Present lives are very cool especially when woven with moments of power. Whenever you recollect/recapitulate/recall/re-experience moments of power, that power also exists in the moment of recalling. (Hence, the journals of power which help) These moments of power exist in the present *and* in the past. To be able to identify them as powerful moments, is a separate art from recalling them.
I recall, central park, in the fall. --------------------------------------
When considering the art of remembering past/present lives, here are a few considerations of mine.
Zero. Is it "real" or imagination. Either or is okay. But learn to tell the difference.
One. Does the recollection have power? Did it move you then? Does it move you now?
Two. Having "re-experienced" it twice, can you grow even further from it from today than the original experience? If not, you might be pining is all.
Three. Is there more? Are there lines of awareness that open up from the recapitulation that you, now, (in this life) should explore?
Four. Pass the bread. And hurry up. We are *dying* here.
