beautiful moments |
How beautiful can life get?
Today sweet child-of-freespirit and I bought some beautiful bird of paradise flowers and some special polish and a brush to buff up my sculpture of Buddha. When we got home, we went to the table where he sits, and we smothered him in polish, then took it in turns to brush him to a beautiful shine. He looks so lovely!
Then I got a special little Ikebana vase that a friend gave to me, carefully arranged the flowers, then with all things in place burned some incense, and lit a candle beside my Buddha.
She brought in a violet candle and sat it on the top of his head - she seems to know these things in her pure innocence.
We gave each other a back and foot massage, then with "Samurai" playing, sat to meditate.
The dear little thing, she sat in the most perfect full lotus, with hands together at her third eye and heart chakra. This is her way, her style.
Such a moment of peace and utter sweetness. Only 5 minutes, but it was an eternity! |
