Healthy Spiritual Community |
I was reading the message from our old friend, Hironga, or whoever, and he/she makes judgments about people's behavior.
In a lecture many years ago Rama said that in a healthy spiritual community people come and go. Students stay for a time, and then move out of the community, for a variety of healthy reasons. They may return for more information, or not. The point of Rama's teachings, from my perspective, was/is to follow your own truth.
Choosing to leave a discussion on a message board is no different. Sometimes I come to the board, and I read. Sometimes I write. Sometimes I disappear (a good thing, right?). What's the difference?
Sometimes I battle in the word game here, on the board, sometimes I don't. Whatever I choose to do, is really no big deal.
Writers here, on the board, who judge my behavior, or some one else's, don't get the practice. We may choose to write something that may help such a person. Perhaps that person has no opening or desire or intent to understand. Doesn't matter, because as we write, we learn.
Lessons come in all kinds of packages. When someone else makes judgments about our behavior it is a reminder.
We know better than to judge ourself, but we do. It is cleaner to observe, not judge. Observe, beginning with "SELF-discovery" and continue to observe in our relationships, here on the board, or elsewhere.
Easy to say, but uh, well, enough said. Namaste
