just some little pieces of trivia |
Do you guys know that the true title of "Road Warrior" was actually "Mad Max". That is still its title here in Oz where it all started. No-one ever refers to it as "Road Warrior".
It seems funny doesn't it - to give it such an insipid title (RW) after such a powerful one. I guess perhaps the connotations in the states might have had a negative effect, yet here the colloquialisms of the movie made us love it instantly.
Did you guys ever understand the name of his son? "Sprog". Does that mean the same thing statesside? Here it means cum, semen - so that equates as kid, child. :) we all laughed our guts out at that one! |
