Spirit and intent are more impressive than winning in my opinion. Taking hits and conditioning is another aspect of the Martial art. Tornaments are more a sport than an art. In a real fight there are no rules, no stopping, no judges, noone to impress, Just your experience. You embody the warrior spirit and miracles could happen; an elbow could meet with the punch breaking the fist, a knee meeting a shin, you could fall avoiding a high kick; by accident or on purpose. In a real situation you would have been able do deal with the aggresive uncontrolled energy as you already have.This judge says you won :-) |
