Subject: Why incarnate at all?
[draft rev 0.0]

Energy is. It makes up everything in a seemless way. The separations, interpretations, perceptions that we superimpose onto our world are thoughts. A young man of 29 decided that he was done with the world. Perhaps, because nothing felt real anymore.

Siddhartha sat under the Bodhi tree in Deer park and would not leave until he could see through all illusion. As the universe would have it, he was successful. Some of his first words, "With our thoughts, we create the world."

Shift to Mysticism. It is believed that all beings possess an energy body that assembles around a point of intersecting dimensions. A dimension may be considered a field or plane of energy. It is possible, by shifting your assemblage point, to see into other realms. Still, these are awareness fields, which implies some level of interpretation.

There realy is no good way to talk about enlightenment. When you hear the words, see the pictures, the energy must filter through your perceptions of what it is. And mostly, you amplify your own constructs about what it is. To feel enlightenment, you must let go of what you believe and what you think that you know. In a zen sense, it means that you become the moment not just being in it.

How does one do this? Meditation is one vehicle. It is just that. A vehicle to expand your mind, quiet your internal chatter, and completely exist in perfect awareness without mental modification. When you chill out and stop trying to reach something, you may discover that you are already there. You won't get anywhere if you are sullen or self-combative. Energy continually seeks the highest form. Look at anything changing which is everything and you will see that each aspect of life -- down to your cell structures -- has a natural affinity to grow and to improve. This natural rhythm of the universe can be stalled, halted, or impeded, but never suspended forever.

As a practicioner of the dharma, when you force your existence to circle around illusion, you feel pain. When you have had enough pain, you will naturally seek ways through it. The Buddha gave us one road map with the four noble truths. There are others.

We incarnate in human realm for our best chance at enlightenment. Other realms are generally too harsh or too easy to poke through the maya and to understand that you are indeed pure energy. Have fun with it. Enjoy your progress. Relax and smile. As a great teacher once told his students, "It all works out."
