Rae Chorze Fwaz |
My friend, a Buddhist Monk, had this to say in regards to this organization and it's authenticity:
"Rae Chorze Fwaz, which doesn't seem to mean anything so far as I can find out, appears to be a teaching organisation started by Rama's student David Ash and pretending to be Buddhist. In fact the name is supposed to be Atlantean and the school is said to be a Tantric school of great antiquity from Atlantis. (Tantric teachings, needless to mention, do not mention Atlantis). Mr Ash says that he has had a number of tantric and Buddhist teachers, but he fails to disclose the name of any of them apart from Dr Lenz who, as we know, had no Tantric teaching qualifications whatsoever and was in his own case unable to substantiate or prove his claims of having been so taught.

Needless to say, it has no authentic Buddhist lineages whatsoever and is about as real as plastic food is edible. I repeat, so far as I can see, this organisation is wholly false and is strictly a con.
Actually, I think you would find this is a tax dodge.
In Chinese History, in China monks weren't taxed - so fake ordinations like this were set up. In today's America there are also tax breaks (apart from the chance to con money out of the unsuspecting) so this is one reason why such organisations are set up to offer bogus qualifications. Just how much did your student friend pay for his 'ordination'?
Please pass the full text of this answer along to that student."
I am not agreeing nor am I disagreeing whith his statements. I posted his response because I felt we should hear opposing views so as to work out our mental muscles. I think it would be boring to always hear views that are in agreement with ours. As Rama said: "We must be more cosmopolitan in our view of the world." |
