What if... |

What if Enlightenment was just another state of mind? What if there were nothing but states of mind? Then what would be the use to strive for Enlightenment? Wouldn't it be enlightening just to be in the state of mind you are now in? Of course, you would have to have a clue that you are dealing with states of mind and that they are just dreams and not get caught up in the duality. But what if there weren't any particular state of mind to reach for? What if just realizing perfection already is all around and within you? What if there isn't any "light bulb" that turns on after years of meditation? What if, we already posses what we are searching for? If it is so, then we needn't feel back about not yet being enlightened. It's just a matter of changing states of mind. |
