I have also noticed that people with an abundance of light seem to be the people who give the most. I agree that the light, energy, awareness is intended to flow. I don't know if the process is sequential, as suggested in another writing. It is taught that way, because our logical mind gets that.
I must admit I get frustrated when I talk to a student who sat with Rama 15 years ago, who is fretting about the drainers and psychic attackers. Perhaps a heavy dose of karma yoga might shift that line of awareness. Maybe a nonlinear approach to the four very excellent steps outlined previously would be useful, especially for people who notice they are stuck in overanalysis. Just a passing thought.
