You mean, just reflecting on the example of 28 years of teaching in the West doesn't do it for you?

I honestly know of no other teacher who changed the lifestyles of so many people for the better...every student has a story. That's a lot of love, to inspire hundreds of people to improve their situation.
And it's a lot of compassion to not take their resistance to change personally, to break up their conditioning and raise them into more fluid states of mind...and to stay funny in the process!
Sometimes when it's grey, doing for something for others takes the focus off your own situation and you end up feeling better in spite of yourself...
And breaking up a meditation routine and doing something different can also help...meditate in a different place, use a different technique...meditate with a smile on your face and the rest of you may catch up to the smile!
