Re: Rama's Teachings |
Very beautiful post. Obstacles make us who we are. Unfortunately, or fortunately, these obstacles, and our successes of overcoming them determine our true strenghts. It is only fair, if you think about it. To me, life is a training exercise. The harder you train (obstacles, pain, competition, etc.) the better of an athlete you are (even if in your mind only..this isn't about approval ratings, etc.) Having others around - willing to cut you out and care for you is essential and important. However, and more importantly, is having people around that know when to let you squirm. More experienced than you (meaning anyone), they know when to sit back and watch; let you go through your thing. They also know when to jump in and cut you free. These people are true friends, and establish a balance, (hopefully) as a circle; a group.
