I agree completely. People have their own ideas of how the world should be. If you do something that they like they will raise you up. When you do something that they don't like then they want to cast you back down. The problem is not with the guy whom we want to put on the pedestal. It lies within each of us. The problem is our own ego which tells us how things SHOULD be.
The past is gone unless we bring it back with our memories. Let it go. Instead I recommend focusing on what is in front of us now. Lets use the things that we have learned and move on.
