friends,spirituality,psychic stuff,karate & karma |
A couple of nights ago, two girlfriends and I converged, in separate cars, on Century City (a local cinema complex) to see "Blair Witch Project" which opened here a week ago.
We later discovered that arriving in separate cars was a mistake, as we were all reluctant to drive home alone. So debriefing occurred over a coffee or two...
What was interesting to me was what we each revealled. Obviously a mood had been set and certain emotions had been tapped into.
Now we 3 have shared many a laugh, bruise, sprain and dislocation at karate, but never have shared the stories of our psychic experiences. It was really quite amazing.
We are an interesting combination - one a philosophy graduate from a Yugoslav-Lutheran background, one a secondary media (film studies) teacher from a Catholic background, and one a graphic designer/art historian from an Anglican background. None of us are particularly religious, though it came out that 2 of us have a very strong inclination towards buddhism.
What amazed me the most was that I discovered that all 3 of us have had extreme experiences during our lives of a psychic or paranormal nature. This I do consider to be unusual.
Part of me is wondering whether this ties in somehow with the direction that we have all gone more recently in our lives. In particular our dedication to karate - is there something about karate which would attract people of more active spiritual/psychic inclination? (the spiritual side was certainly an attraction for me). And also to the fact that we have all found each other. We are very much of like spirit - this I recognised a long time ago. We feel very comfortable with each other, and there is great trust (I guess that comes with the karate deal). It appears that our energies are synergystic (if that is possible).
I understand through Rama that our karma attracts us to certain types.
Could anyone elaborate on this for me please? |
