Movin' on |
Studying with Rama, I got to live in -- and, of course, have the experience of moving to -- some really wonderful places. You guys did, too. And wasn't it a *trip*?
The boss would get a wild hair up his ass and announce in some meeting that the current place was toast, and that there was a better one he'd gotten a hit on. And, even though it made no sense whatsoever, we'd give notice and pack up our stuff and move to the better place. No prospects, no job, not enough money to move with and pay initial expenses there, none of that comfort zone stuff. But we were such spiritual outlaws that we'd go for it anyway.
And damn if it didn't always work out.
One way or another. It's almost as if taking that leap of faith "greased the wheels" of karma, and helped everything *to* work out.
I'm taking a similar leap. After living in my idea of paradise for a couple of years, all my stuff -- and boy! is there a lot of it! -- is packed up and ready to load on a truck heading to Spain. Go figure.
( Shit. I just realized that I'm going to have to figure out how to say "Go figure" in Spanish. )
Anyway, it's Yet Another Move, and Yet Another Leap Of Faith. I just got a hit on the place, knew that it made no sense to move there, and decided to move there anyway. Wish me luck.
