Subject: American Buddhism
Folks, my old art teacher called me yesterday. She's taking in lectures at a Unitarian Church on Buddhism. She wanted a short description of American Buddhism. She's very sincere. Seems the teacher there doesn't really know much about it (more of a traditional teacher perhaps?)

If you all care to put a description of American Buddhism into words I'll send it along to her to enlighten and enliven her. I did my best, but maybe as a group we can do better.

Many thanks.
