Living in the Future |
The post about living in the past got me thinking (always a thing to be avoided) about living in the future.
I am aware, the ideal is live in the moment.
However, I still live in the world at times, and catch myself (gasp) THINKING about my future.
My Modest Proposal about enlightenment is based loosely along the same lines as Jonathan Swift's.
When I am enlightened __________.
Please fill in the blank as many times as you can. Be honest, funny, or both.
To whit:
When I am enlightened I will never have a cold. When I am enlightened I will never grow old. When I am enlightened money won't matter. When I am enligtened I'll be mad as a hatter. When I am enlightened I will never gain weight. When I am enlightened I'll be able to relate. When I am enlightened I will glow from within. When I am enlightened I'll continually grin. When I am enlightened my cat will respect me. When I am enlightened my students won't reject me.
