My Heart

Here ...
Take my heart.

What good is it to me,
Without helping you?

I want you to take the beats
The sighs, the rose,
And turn them into something real,
For you.

My heart wants what your heart wants.
Can we join them?
Are they one?

I want to see you smile,
Be happy.
All the world.

If you take it,
And run
Like the torch —
Take it now
And pass it on.

Here ...
Take my heart.
