Poem for the Month of August, 2003

"First Haiku"
by
Nommolucas

seattle summer day
nothing like it!
thinking of you

winter's come & gone
i am green
as the tip of pine

new life surrounds
poetry reinvented
raised to higher grounds

we had early sun
the lamp post shimmers
(after a delicate rainfall)
